I don't know Dustin, or his family, but they could use our prayers. Dustin just turned 16 years old and was diagnosed with epilepsy a few weeks ago. After one of his many seizures he lost his entire memory. He doesn't know his family, his friends or his favorite things. He is truly lost. On top of that, the seizures are still coming and to this point medication hasn't helped.
And yet, his family is faithful to the Lord. Their steadfast belief that God is in control is truly humbling. His sister has been blogging about their lives and mentions that Dustin has the constant question of why God would allow this to happen to him. He wants to know how his family can still worship and praise God in the midst of all this.
Please pray that God would keep his arms wrapped firmly around this family in what must be an incredibly trying time. And please pray that he would guide the doctors as they work to determine what's causing these seizures and how to control them. And most of all, pray that Dustin's faith in God would be restored and that he would be healed.
Psalm 107: 28-30 says:
Then they cried out to the LORD in their trouble,
and he brought them out of their distress.
He stilled the storm to a whisper;
the waves of the sea were hushed.
They were glad when it grew calm,
and he guided them to their desired haven.

I wanted to thank you too...I've been keeping this blog and am amazed at the prayers that have been said and lifted up for us from people who we don't even know! I just want you to know that while this is hard every day I believe we can see prayers being answered so thank you so much!
