Charlotte is really starting to blossom developmentally as of late. She knows all sorts of body parts, can identify many animals by sight and even makes a lot of animal noises. My favorites have to be duck, which sounds more like Donald than the typical quack, and elephant, which is accompanied by her holding her arm to her nose like a trunk. And, as Mandy says, she owns the word apple (though every round fruit/veg seems to be one in her mind).
I'm thinking of making her a word book like the ones I've seen on bunches of blogs lately. I really love this one, featured on Party Perfect:
How cute would it be for her to have a book featuring all her special stuff? You know, things like Mark and I, Mickey, giraffes, Starbucks - the important things in life. *grin* What do you think needs to be in her book?

Of course Gramma needs to be in the book too! I think the book is a cute idea.
I like the new panelled look of your blog and the white fluffy flowery thing too!
What's a swagbuck?
Wonderful idea for a book. That's awesome she can name her body parts and is saying more. I have no idea what is up with the word apple, but Elijah does it too. We will hold up anything round and small in the produce section and he will proudly announce "Apple!" My my, they will have lots to say when they see each other next. I can't wait!
That book idea is so incredibly cute!! I might have to make one for my nephew - thanks for sharing the idea!
