Our old place had a french door fridge with the freezer drawer on the bottom and the kitchen itself was protected by baby gates. But our new place has a standard fridge and is completely open to the family room. Charlotte has mastered trotting up the stairs and opening the door while calling for someone to get her milk, strawberries, etc. We've gotten used to this nighttime ritual.
We were a little surprised, however, when she started feeding C3PO in her baby doll highchair.
