Coconuts, Hand Holding & Charlotte's Momma

* Charlotte watches so much Jake and the Neverland Pirates, that the other day she held a paper towel tube to her eye and said, "If you see Momma, saaaaay Momma!" She also likes to yell "Oh coconuts!"

* When we went to visit my mom in the hospital after her knee surgery, Charlotte got out of the car and asked to see Chrissy and Oliver. It took me a few seconds to realize that she was asking because the last time we were in the hospital was to visit them after he was born. Two and a half months ago.

* A little boy lives next door to us and he and Charlotte have been playing well together. They even walk around holding hands. All together now... awwwwwww!

* Oliver's dad made up a song to sing him whenever he's unhappy. Charlotte has started singing it to him too. So sweet! And she refers to Oliver's dad, whose name is Joe, as Joe Dad. Too funny!!

* At the playground the other day Charlotte ran up to a random boy jumping on the bridge and yelled, "Hey people. Stop jumping!!"

* Sometimes, if I'm holding Charlotte and Mark tries to talk to/touch me, Charlotte will glare at him and say, "Not your momma. Charlotte's momma."

* At dinner the other night she said she's not a baby, she's not a big girl, she's a Charlotte.

* You can almost always convince Charlotte to go to the bathroom to brush her teeth by asking her to help find your toothbrush.

The photo is from our foray into potty training. Not yet successful.

Oh coconuts...that cracked me up!

Pie is the same way when Husband and I are affectionate, except with him. She doesn't like me moving in on her daddy!

Kids are so fun at this age... and the things that come out of their mouths are hillarious. Man, Charlotte has a good memory too.
