I found this photo on Pinterest the other day and can't stop thinking about. Okay, I've thought about a few other things, but this is really stuck in my mind. I'm totally enamored.
Isn't this wall mural made to look like cross stitch lovely? You can read more about Eline Pellinkhof, the artist behind this piece, and see photos of her home over at Bloesem Living.
When I'd originally pinned it I'd thought about doing it on canvas and hanging it on a blank wall in my master bedroom. Mark doesn't see my vision though, so I may do it directly onto the wall in the spare bedroom. It'll go above my crafting desk, which I plan to hinge to the wall and fold up when we have guests over. With this art being directly on the wall and not on a canvas or in a frame I won't have to worry about the desk hitting it on its way up. Now to find the perfect image and colors!
P.S. Happy Birthday Mom!!

I can see the planning now...
The spare room will be a good spot - have fun choosing a design.
Thansk for the birthday wishes!
Sounds easier than really cross stitching... except it would be hard for me to keep all the x's the same size (just like cross stitching, lol). It's a super cute idea. Can't wait to see what you do with it. TFS.
That is fantastic! I really have to limit my Pinterest, otherwise I'll have a to do list a mile long!
Oh my gosh, I LOVE this. I have some unused canvases in the linen closet...think I just found my next project! So many projects, so little time!
