Did you know that Walt Disney's last name is actually a changed version of Walt's family's original name? Turns out Walt has French ancestry that later moved on to England; the d'Isigny family settled in a small village with William the Conqueror in 1066. The village is now known as Norton Disney, and is located south of the city of Lincoln, in the county of Lincolnshire.
