A Day at the Park

On Friday, Mark and I decided to take Charlotte to the park. We were lucky to find one (at my old elementary school no less) that was completely enclosed and basically empty. She had a marvelous time!!

She liked climbing:

Reciting (well, having her daddy recite) the alphabet:

Stretching high towards the hard to reach stuff:

And sliding:

She was beyond excited when Gramma and Aunt Mandy showed up:

She liked when Daddy showed her how to use a cone as a megaphone:

And sliding with Gramma was super fun, even if Gramma found it super exhausting:

All in all, a fun afternoon that we plan to repeat each week. Hopefully I'll have kicked my wicked cold/ear infection/plague by Friday.

She is a cutie! Glad you guys had so much fun together. Very cool to have grandma there to slide with!
Hope you are feeling better soon!

Oh she is super cute! My daughter is almost "too old" for the playground - I miss those days. Nothing like the simple fun of a day at the playground.

She does look like she's having the time of her life. I love the last picture. Hopefully the weather will be beautiful for a while before it gets all hot and muggy.

What a cutie-patootie! Wish my 13 y.o. was three again. Treasure these days, they go way too fast!
