That little bundle of adorableness is Oliver Timothy. Isn't he darling?! He's got the cutest nose, and lips, and wrinkly hand, and... My friend Christine, who also happens to be Charlotte's nanny, is his mommy. He was born on Saturday, after she labored for 19 hours (eeeek!!). He's a big boy, weighing in at 9lbs 3 oz, and is only about 12 hours old in this photo.
We were lucky that Joe and Christine had a very sweet nurse who allowed Charlotte in for a visit at the hospital, even though she doesn't even come close to the 12 year old age requirement. She was so excited to see Chrissy's baby! Despite being totally enamored with him (we all are), she was more interested in all the gadgets in the hospital room. Mark and I (and even Joe too) had quite the workout keeping her from pushing every button in sight!
She was very sweet though, giving him kisses and patting his head. She even said "Goodbye Ol-brr" as we were leaving and wished Chrissy and Joe "Good Luck", though I don't think they'll need it - they'll be fantastic parents! Congrats guys!!
P.S. I mentioned a while back that some friends and I are creating some Safari Digs for Oliver. Well, we're in full on decorating mode now that he's here, so check back soon for the big reveal.
