Caleb

I'm a little late in posting (I blame not having a laptop until Sunday), but am delighted to share photos of the newest addition to our family. Caleb Frederick, our nephew, was born Monday, July 25th. His parents (my brother, Joe, and his wife, Jo) and big brother Elijah were very excited to finally meet him! Mark, Charlotte, Mandy and I headed up to their house Wednesday to get to see him ourselves. What a cute guy!

Don't you just love the wrinkly hands?! They're my favorite thing. Well, after his hair of course. Love that! And contrary to what that screaming photo shows, he was pretty content. Even when I kept rearranging him to try to get him closer to the window. My camera just couldn't handle the lack of light. It was almost 8 o'clock at night, so that's no surprise.

I just kept snapping away though, figuring I was bound to get something at least halfway decent. Elijah noticed and decided to play photographer too. At least my photos are better than his, what with his finger being in front of the lens.

Ahhh....such sweet boys! Great shots of Caleb. It's hard to get really good ones when they're this little....but you did. I love the wrinkly hand!!

The pictures of Caleb are so sweet...I think you did a great job of capturing all of his tiny details. Love Elijah's attempts, too. Cute kids you guys have...and of course I can't forget Miss Charlotte and Miss Penelope!
