So... last week's menu didn't exactly go as planned. I'm finding that sticking with a meal plan in December is ridiculously difficult. Not only do I have a lot planned to make Charlotte's Christmas fun, but there's loads of unplanned activities that we (happily) end up involved in. Including dinner at my sister-in-law's -- thanks Jacqi! So we'll see how things go this week:
Monday - ??? (Mark & Charlotte are on their own tonight)
Tuesday - Ham & Eggs
Wednesday - Grecian Spaghetti
Thursday - Vegetable Beef Soup
Friday - ??? (Mark's mum arrives and we usually go out to eat)
Saturday - Tuna Casserole
I mentioned that Mark & Charlotte are on their own for dinner tonight. That's because I'm spending the entire day doing some shopping - hopefully filling in the last empty spots on my Christmas list. Like my mom, I try to do my best to make sure everything is fair in my gift-giving: same budget, same number of gifts, etc. That often means you're left needing a couple more gifts and only have a small budget left. I happened upon Kayla Aimee's post featuring 25 gifts under $10 and got some great ideas. Check it out here if you're searching for some ideas too!
