Just six weeks until I hit the big Three-Oh. My life as of late has been consumed by 12 hour days at work (I'm back to that schedule for this week), not to mention a hurricane-related claim of my own for my basement, and flooding in my sunroom. Needless to say, not much has been crossed off my
30 Before Thirty list in the past few weeks. But, I figured now is as good a time as any to revisit my goals and hopefully kick my butt into gear. Here's where I stand:
1. Decorate for holidays other than just Christmas. ...
Not accomplished yet, but I have plans for Halloween.2. Make a quilt. ...
I'm counting my laptop bag since it has some quilting.
3. Enroll Charlotte in gymnastics/dance. ...
We did gymnastics through Parks & Rec and she hated every minute. We're thinking about dance for next fall (one year from now).4. Learn more about Photoshop Elements.
5. Watch all the year's Oscar Best Picture nominees. ...
Done and briefly reviewed.6. Learn to crochet.
7. Sew a costume for Charlotte. ...
Check out that adorable Peter Pan!8. Learn to cook a good steak.

13. Make dessert more often.14. Vacation somewhere other than Disney World. ...

My most favorite DIY to date. 24. Host a party at our new house. ...
Charlotte's birthday was a success, we toasted Will & Kate and I've got plans for a Halloween bash.25. Take walks as a family.
26. Read every book club book. ...
Can't cross this one off for two more months, but I'm current!27. Revamp a piece of furniture with paint. ...
Coming soon. Hopefully. If it'll stop raining for more than 20 minutes at a time.28. Organize my photos. ...
I've finally got a system for storage - a folder for each day, with another folder for the month, and then another folder for the year. Nothing earth-shattering, but it works.29. Prepare dinners regularly. ...
Go weekly planning!30. Use produce from my own garden. ...
We only had tomato plants, but they were yummy.I've got 13 items left, far more than what I'd hoped to have remaining with less than 2 months to go. Some items I've just written off (coughcoughlosethirtypoundscough) but others are totally doable. There's actually at least four things on that list that I can virtually guarantee will get crossed off. So altogether not too bad.
How are your to do lists coming along?

I'll babysit (at your house) once this month and once in October so you can check off #20. : )
Didn't you try doing something different with your hair (curls or something), but it didn't work out? I think that should count, seeing as how you at least gave it a shot.
